Racing Autos Development Association member announces this at Fanfaro Auto fest in Ibadan,Oyo State capital

Mr Bukola Feyisitan, a member of the board of trustees of the newly registered Racing Autos Development Association (RADA) during the welcome dinner organised by the CEO of Fanfaro Oil Nigeria Mr Olanrewaju Adekunle, and also organiser of the prestigious Fanfaro Autofest annual event announced the formation of the new motorsport association.

He iterated that there was a need for all motorsport enthusiasts, manufacturers, promoters, sponsors and drivers to come together under an umbrella body to help grow and promote the motorsport culture and make it a viable sector that adds value to the national economy.

He also promised that the new body will be a welcoming entity that will take on board all considerations in the running of its affairs with the ultimate goal of making motorsports accessible to all interested.

He also announced that a off- road race series will begin in 2024, the Xkart off road racing series, with a launch event slated for December 16, at the work & play racing arena in shagamu, Ogun state.

The event is promoted by work & play in conjunction with Mettalic Horses.

He also stated that the off road vehicles will be available for viewing at their stand during the Fanfaro Autofest weekend and any further questions can be answered.

He stated that an AGM of the new association will be announced shortly and all interested parties were welcome to take part and have their say in the direction of the Nigerian motorsports sector.

He thanked Mr Adekunle for generously hosting RADA and wished everyone participating in the event success.
