Founder and Chairman of Chisco Group, Chief Dr. Chidi Anyaegbu, MFR, was on Saturday, September 13, 2026, celebrated by industry stakeholders for 70 years of vision and 45 years of building a lasting legacy in Nigeria’s Automotive and Transport sector.

In a goodwill message, management of JCN Consulting and the publishers of OnTheHighwayAfrica described Dr. Anyaegbu as a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose contributions have shaped modern Road Transportation in Nigeria.“Chief Anyaegbu is more than a businessman.

He is a visionary who turned one bus into a national brand. Through Chisco Transport, Chisco Express, Chisco Motors and other investments, he has created jobs for thousands and set the standard for professionalism and safety in the industry,” the statement said.

The group noted that his 45 years in the Automotive Allied Industry have not only connected cities across Nigeria but have also provided reliable mobility for millions of passengers and businesses.Beyond business, Dr. Anyaegbu has been recognized for his philanthropic work in education, youth empowerment, and community development.
