The Kaduna State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched a decisive enforcement drive against the deadly practice of mixed loading on Nigerian Highway.

Under the Directive of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed mni, the Command has intercepted and apprehended multiple articulated vehicles conveying animals, goods, and human passengers during the Easter Special Patrol.

Led by Sector Commander, CC Tijani Iliyasu, the operation underscores the Corps’ zero-tolerance posture for violations that endanger lives and compromise road safety standards. Mixed loading is a hazardous practice that turns vehicles into death traps, exposing occupants to crushing, suffocation, and severe injury in the event of a crash.

The FRSC warns road users to desist from this practice or face the full weight of the law, emphasizing that safe roads are not negotiable. The public is urged to report incidents of mixed loading to the nearest FRSC office or dial the emergency hotline.
