Governor Fubara announced that his administration, through the Ministry of Transport, is developing a comprehensive vehicle tracking and data-sharing system in partnership with the FRSC.
The framework, according to him is designed to enhance security coordination, simplify vehicle identification, and ensure rapid response in cases of theft or other related crimes.
The governor noted that the collaboration would not only improve public confidence in the State’s transport system but also strengthen intelligence sharing between the FRSC and relevant government agencies.
During the ceremony, the Corps Marshal commended the Rivers State Government for its continuous support to the FRSC and described the Governor’s investiture as a recognition of his commitment to safety, accountability, and effective governance.
The Corps Marshal was later joined by the Executive Governor to flag off the 2025 Ember Months National Town Hall Meetings, an initiative aimed at deepening public awareness on responsible driving and reducing road traffic crashes.
