NADDC DG Bags NiMechE Honorary Fellowship Award

JELANI BAGS NIMechE HONOURARY FELLOWSHIP AWARD

The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A Division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers) on Wednesday 16th November 2022 honoured the Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) with NIMechE Honourary Fellowship at the NADDC Headquarters Abuja.

Speaking in his address, the Chairman, Board of Fellow Engr. Prof. Oluwatoyin Ashiru, FNSE, FNIMeche, FAEng, said the conferement was a higher calling to excellence in what the Director General knows how to do best in the service of our dear nation.

Similarly, the National Chairman of the institution, Engr. Olufunmilade Akingbabohun, FNSE, FNIMechE who formally honoured Mr. Jelani with the award, did not hesitate to congratulate him adding that the honour is well deserved having distinguished himself in various fields of human endeavour particularly in the Nigeria Automotive Industry and other developments on Engineering technology.

The Chairman also implored and urged Jelani to continue to contribute with his outstanding wealth of experience and knowledge to the betterment of Nigeria.

The recipient is a Global Icon who is not just an Automotive/Industrial Designer but also an Architectural Conceptualist, Technology and Environmental Sustainability Proponent, and a dedicated mentor to the Nigerian youths.
