Nigeria Auto Industry mourns as Alh Lanre Shittu passes on

This occurred at the early hour of today, it was reported that the Chairman /CEO of Lanre Shittu Motors Alh.Lanre Shittu has join his beloved wife Alhaja Wuraola Shittu (Late) this morning.
The Nigeria’s auto industry is in grief as the Founder/Chairman of Lanre Shittu Motors, Alhaji Olanrewaju Rasak Shittu, has passed on.
He reportedly died in the early hours of Monday after a protracted illness.
Executive Director of Lanre Shittu Motors, Taiwo Shittu, who is one of the children, confirmed the demise of the Nigeria’s auto industry Chieftain and socialite.

According to Source,His body has been taken to an undisclosed morgue.

The successful entrepreneur and the number one Dealer of Mack trucks in Africa, was the sole franchise for Mack truck brand in Nigeria , a brand he made a huge success and popularity of the Brand for almost two decades. He was also the first dealer to launch of Sany heavy duty equipment and Yutong buses in Nigeria for a long time before focusing on assembling of JAC trucks

The successful business man was a licensed dealer of KIA, NISSAN, Jinbei Buses, he also became a leading supplier of genuine spare parts to automobile dealers and ventured into body building of trucks lately in Nigeria.
Lanre Shittu Motors, award winning Automobile Company in Nigeria has over the years supported the private and public sectors of the economy in the realization of the Nigerian developmental goals and objectives in the automobile Sector.
Alh. Lanre Shittu established Lanre Shittu Motors on the 31st, March 1981 and incorporated on the Company on the 3rd of March 1986.
