President Court of Appeal Support Road Safety to reduce Crashes on Nigeria Highway

In pursuit of its unwavering commitment to elevating road safety standards and significantly reducing the occurrence of crashes on Nigerian roads, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) collaborated with the Kwapda’as Road Safety Demand (KRSD) to host a pivotal one-day seminar.
The seminar, which brought together esteemed stakeholders and experts in the field of Road Safety, was dedicated to a comprehensive review of the Marrakech Declaration on Road Safety.

This international agreement, adopted in 2018, outlines a global commitment to halving the number of road traffic deaths and injuries by 2030.
By examining the tenets and objectives of the Marrakech Declaration, participants in the seminar aimed to identify actionable strategies and best practices that can be implemented in Nigeria to enhance road safety and reduce the alarming rate of road crashes.
The Seminar was attended by Justice Monica Bolna’an Dongban-Mensem, the President Court of Appeal and the Founder of KRSD, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, Founders of Road Safety NGOs and many other VIPs.
