Transport Logistics Take Center Stage as Oyeyemi Leads City Business News 10th Anniversary Lecture

City Business News Online will mark its 10th anniversary with a high-level lecture on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The Publisher Moses Ebosele said the milestone reflects a decade of impactful business reporting, commitment to credible journalism, industry-focused coverage, and support for Nigeria’s economic development.

The highlight of the event will be a keynote lecture titled _“Logistics as the Engine Room of Nigeria’s Economy,” to be delivered by Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, OFR, mni, NPOM, FCILT.Dr. Oyeyemi is a respected authority in transportation and logistics management. He is the immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps and currently serves as President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Nigeria.Ebosele said the event will bring together key stakeholders from government, the private sector, regulatory agencies, and the media.

Expected dignitaries include ABC Transport PLC founder Frank Nneji, representatives of the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, leading banks, and major auto firms.

The anniversary lecture will also provide a platform for discussions on how logistics, transportation, and supply chain systems can drive Nigeria’s economic growth and competitiveness
