President Tinubu Pledges Support as NADDC DG Presents Auto Industry Roadmap

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to repositioning Nigeria’s automotive industry for global competitiveness.

The President gave the assurance on July 7, 2026, while receiving a strategic briefing from the Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin.

During the meeting in Abuja, Osanipin updated the President on NADDC’s milestones and policy interventions designed to accelerate industrialization and deepen local content in vehicle manufacturing.

He commended President Tinubu for his unwavering support and policy focus, noting that it is driving growth and investor confidence in the Automotive sector.
