FRSC Launches 2025 National Workshop for Driving School Proprietors and Instructors

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, has officially launched the 2025 National Workshop for Driving School Proprietors and Instructors. The event, themed “Entrenching Highway Safety in Nigeria Through Standardized Drivers and Riders Training,” is a significant step towards promoting road safety through enhanced driver training.

The event held at the National Open University Auditorium in Abuja on May 19, 2025, the workshop drew notable attendees, including the representative of the FCT Minister, the Mandate Secretary of the FCT Transport Secretariat, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Administration at the National Open University, Professor Isaac Samani Butswat, among others.

The workshop underscores the importance of standardized driver training in reducing road accidents and promoting highway safety in Nigeria. By bringing together driving school proprietors and instructors, the FRSC aims to develop strategies for improving driver training and enhancing road safety.
