The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, mni, has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to using strategic communication to drive road safety advocacy across Nigeria.
Mallam Mohammed stated this on in Abuja at the opening of a two-day Advanced Training on Effective Use of Public Education Tools for FRSC Public Education Officers nationwide.
The Corps Marshal welcomed top media chiefs to the event, including the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, MNIPR; the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Malam Ali Mohammed Ali; and the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, represented by the General Manager, NTA News 24, Alhaji Ibrahim Wada.
With the theme _“Strengthening Strategic Communication for Effective Road Safety Advocacy,”_ the training aims to equip officers with modern skills to deploy traditional and digital media, visual communication, and community engagement tools.
According to Mohammed, the goal is to ensure FRSC delivers clear, audience-centred and impactful road safety messages that will reduce crashes and save lives.
