Lagos ministry of Transportation gets New Permanent Secretary

TORIOLA ABDULHAFIZ RESUMES AS M.O.T PERMANENT SECRETARY

Engr. Abdulhafiz Gbolahan Toriola today resumed as the new Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation (M.O.T).


Engr Toriola, a former Director of Transport Operations in the Ministry was on Thursday 8th of September, 2022 along 8 others appointed Permanent Secretary by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

With his new appointment, he takes over from Mr. Kamar Olowoshago who has been redeployed as the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Housing

Addressing the management and staff of the Ministry, the new Permanent Secretary thanked the outgoing Permanent Secretary for his commitment and dedication towards the smooth running of the Ministry assuring of building on the legacy of improved working environment for staff toward achieving the mandate of the Ministry.

While soliciting the support of the management and staff, he added that the support is crucial to achieving set goals and targets.

‘I have fully resumed work to avoid unnecessary delay in the business of governance, we have to hit the ground running’ he said.

Earlier, the Outgoing Permanent Secretary Mr. Kamar Olowoshago while handing over to the incoming Permanent Secretary stated that Traffic Management and Transportation is in the front burner of the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urging the Management and staff to give the incoming PS maximum support and cooperation to move the Ministry forward.

Olowoshago also extended appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support at all times.
