NADDC AND BPSR Strengthens Collaboration for Strategic Alliance

The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) Director General, Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, received Dr. Dasuki I. Arabi, Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) and his delegates on a courtesy visit at the NADDC headquarters in Abuja today.

The aimed of the Courtsey Visit was to foster synergy between the two agencies in line with National goals of Institutionalising reform, digital transformation, and improving public service delivery.
Mr. Osanipin commended BPSR’s leadership in championing pivotal reform initiatives such as the Treasury Single Account (TSA), Bank Verification Number (BVN), and Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), noting their impact on transparency and efficiency in governance.

“The quality of civil servants is directly tied to a nation’s development,” Mr. Osanipin stated. “Reforms must begin at the core—those who shape policy and deliver services. We recognize BPSR’s invaluable contributions to Nigeria’s reform journey and look forward to integrating these principles into our operations at NADDC.”
He also emphasized NADDC’s ongoing efforts to digitize its processes and align with global best practices, stressing that reform and innovation must go hand in hand to ensure the Council remains future-ready.

Dr. Arabi, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised NADDC’s leadership. He reiterated that the courtesy visit aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive for greater inter-agency collaboration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We are here to build stronger ties, reduce duplication of efforts, and improve public service performance across the board,” Dr. Arabi noted. “Public sector reform is not just about systems—it’s about outcomes, data-driven accountability, and ensuring every Naira spent is monitored for impact.”

He introduced BPSR’s four-pillar reform strategy and discussed plans to cascade reform frameworks to states and local governments. Dr. Arabi also expressed optimism that NADDC would be among the agencies recognized for excellence during the upcoming Public Service Week in October.

The two agencies agreed to explore joint initiatives, capacity-building efforts, and digital integration strategies to deepen reform outcomes and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.
