The Kaduna State Government on Saturday flagged off 12.8 billion road projects in Kafanchan City the headquarters of Jema’a Local Government Area. The construction of the Kafanchan Urban Renewal roads projects, which is an initiative of the el-Rufai’s administration and in fulfillment of his campaign promise, was geared towards massive intervention on access and link roads, boost security and increase the socio-economic well-being of residents of the area. Lagos State Government has announced a slight adjustment in the dates for the temporary closure of the Railway Level Crossing at Ilupeju, Ogunmokun, Jibowu, and Yaba in continuation of the ongoing Nigerian Railway Modernisation Project (Lagos-Ibadan section). A statement issued on Sunday by the State Ministry of Transportation noted that the closure of the Railway Level Crossing in Ilupeju is now scheduled for Monday, November 16; Ogunmokun on Tuesday 17th; Jibowu and Yaba on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am each day. …Phase II of project to start next year, says Governor Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, rolled out a major infrastructural overhaul in the Epe Division of the State, flagging off the reconstruction of Eti Osa-Lekki-Epe Expressway 40 years after. The Governor flagged off the first phase of the road project on Sunday at a ceremony held at the Pan African University in Eleko, Ibeju Lekki area. The first phase, which will be completed in 20 months, will cover 18.75 kilometres, stretching from Eleko to T-Junction in Epe.
